As a mother of three children, with one born at home, I am very familiar with the ups and downs of pregnancy and childbirth.

Being a doula is not so much a career choice as it is a true calling. I decided to become a doula during the pregnancy and labor of my third child. The natural labor process had such a powerful impact on me and in turn influenced the relationship I share with my children. It was then I realized that I wanted to be able to help other women have the same feelings towards their birthing experiences as I did and ultimately play a small role to crucial bond formed between families through pregnancy and labor.

I believe that pregnancy and childbirth are not medical conditions but rather a life experience. Each woman has their own expectations regarding birth and my goal is to simply help women make informed decisions about what they desire and expect and to support those goals. I realize that every woman is different and that no one has the same birthing experience and yet each one is equally amazing. Please watch the video!
